I often see musicians or aspiring musicians continue to struggle with putting it all together when trying to grow in their craft, overcomplicating the process, or investing time in things that have little to no return. They haven’t learned how to “learn” and as such often begin to self-eliminate or continue to be frustrated with the slow pace of their progress. There is a better way! My desire is to teach musicians how to learn, how to maximize the value of the time they invest in practice, and how to release the unique musical contribution they have to offer the world!
I offer private instruction with 30, 45 and 60 minute options. Private instruction can be in-person, or remotely via Zoom/Google Meet. It’s never too early and it’s never too late to pursue your musical goals. All ages and skill levels are welcome! Let’s work together to develop a plan and help you achieve your musical goals!
Rates are $35 per 30-minute lesson, $48 per 45-minute lesson, and $65 per 60-minute lesson.
As a church pianist for many years, I felt locked into my playing habits. Taking lessons with Kenny has opened up a whole new world of possibilities for me. I feel challenged and encouraged, and Kenny has a great ability to unlock old habits and plug in new ones that are more melodious, clear, and inspired. Kenny has been such a great teacher for my 8-year-old son. I had some concerns about how responsive he would be (he’s in a bit of a know-it-all all stage, as many little boys go through lol) but Kenny knows just how to use that and to work with it! He has been thriving in lessons. I’ll hear him do something new he learned at the keyboard, and it amazes me every time how much Kenny was able to teach him in a short amount of time every week!
